Your Are Worth So Much More

Hey girl,
Even on the days when you're ready to throw in the towel, when your heart is bruised, your confidence shaken, and you’re wondering if it’s even worth it anymore, please hear me.
You are not weak. You are weary. And that’s not the same thing.

I remember the day I nearly walked away from teaching. A parent had emailed me something so nasty, so personal, it stopped me in my tracks. They questioned my abilities, spoke against my character, and picked apart my heart like it was nothing. In a single moment, I felt exposed and unseen at the same time. I felt painfully small.
For a split second, I believed them. I questioned my calling. I wondered if anything I was doing even mattered. I thought, "Maybe this isn't for me anymore."
But then, I remembered a social media picture of a notebook penned with the words: You are worth so much more than how they made you feel (author credit unknown).
I paused and took a breath, letting the words settle in deep. That one email didn’t cancel out all the moments I had shown up early to prepare. It didn’t erase the prayers I’d prayed over students and the desk her student sat in that had been anointed. Those words didn't define the hours I’d poured into every lesson, even when no one saw it. It didn’t undo my calling.
And friend, if you’ve been in a classroom, in a relationship, or even in a season where someone’s words made you question your worth, this is for you.
You may not be perfect. None of us are. But you are doing the best you can. You are walking through days that would crush others, and you're still standing. You are still showing up.
Isaiah 54:17 says, “No weapon formed against you will prevail, and you will refute every tongue that accuses you. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord.” Their words may have wounded you, but they don’t define you.
Deuteronomy 28:13 reminds us, “The Lord will make you the head and not the tail… if you pay attention to the commands of the Lord your God.”God didn’t create you to live burdened by weight of others’ opinions. He created you to rise, lead, love, and walk boldly in your purpose.
And when you're feeling shattered? Psalm 34:18 speaks directly to you: “The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.”He sees what others miss. He knows the tears behind your smile, and He’s not going anywhere.
So stand tall. Not because it doesn’t hurt, but because your identity is anchored in something greater.
You are chosen.
You are called.
You are seen.
And no one has the power to rewrite the truth about you. Girl, you are worth so much more than how they made you feel. Keep moving forward. You are not alone.
